Was watching MTV cribs last night between hanging sheet rock and posting obsanities on forums, and saw an episode with craig davids house, and in that episode he walks thru a hallway lit up red and is like wait right there, and then he walks over to a panel on the wall and changes them from red, to green, to blue, and I thought that was pretty damn ****.

I want to see who here has had experience with installing indirect lighting such as this? Here are the supplies I THINK I'll be using. The controller looks kind of ghetto so if I can find a better controller, I'm all for it:

10 Function Controller on bottom of page: http://www.ledropelightsandmore.com/ledropeacc.html#controllers

RGB Rope lighting: http://www.ledropelightsandmore.com/productpages/led65-rgb.html

Baseboard for lighting: http://www.invitinghome.com/crown_molding_lighting/baseboard_lighting_fd1.htm

Please tell me if you have any tips or better products to use. Thanks guys. Smiley

Very nice idea. Looks great! You might want to shop around for the lighting. Birddog has it for less.

The two controllers you are looking at will NOT work with RGB LED rope lights..

RGB LED rope lights are 4-wire and require a controller such as this...
http://www.birddogdistributing.com/inline-mini-chasing-controller-color-rope-light-p-792.html

You can get even more control with the deluxe version such as independant color control and 8 variations of speed control with each effect...

You can beat they're price of $329 for that 65' roll with the extras included on that page linked above? If so then you'll have an order from me within the next week or so.

The controller I listed is the exact same one as the one you listed except your selling it for $10 cheaper. Smiley You probably didnt scroll to the bottom of the page I linked.

Its a very common type of lighting now but it doesnt use led rope lights but led strips. Led strips produce more bright and uniform light and also the leds used are better.

Examples of led strips:

http://www.ledrise.com/product_info.php?info=p89_LED-strip-with-30-White-Superflux-LEDs--60lm--90--176---50cm--12V.html

They have such led strip sets (including installation stuff) at IKEA or Wallmart also.
