I wanted to know if any one knows whether or not LEDs that have 2" spacing are compatible with LEDs that have 1" spacing? I know that LEDs all have different different circuits and the circuits depend on cut able sections. These both have a 1/2" diameter and are a 2 wire LED. If you hooked them together would it work, or would the difference in circuits blow the rope light out or cause some sort of damage? Any advice or knowledge would be great!!!!

Hi Louise,

Honestly, I am not quite sure if I understand you well either, but I think if both ropes you are about to use run at 12V than there shouldn't be a problem. But anyway, maybe checking this site could help you, they were very helpful with me when I applied a strip.

Yes, I also agree with the fact that if both ropes you are about to use run at 12V then you would not face any problem.
