So I think I may go ahead and purchase the incandescent rope lights for now.  I don't wnat to spend the extra money on the LED's at this time. I am going to be using them for a wedding.  I will be hanging them around the large oaks tress.  Will they get too hot and start the tree on fire?  Oh dear, grandpa would kill me!!  Shocked They won't be enclosed, just loosely hung.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

LED lights are not costly. Its saves more energy. Anyway try this Incandescent Brooder Light. ITs 10.5inch aluminum shade with wire guard. Use up to 250 watt bulb with 1 year warranty.

Thanks
