A few simple questions
What type of voltage is used for incandescent 12volt rope light? What color is the clear rope light?

Oh! Oh! I know this one! Uh 12 volt rope light is powered by uh 12 volts? And clear rope light is uh, clear.
All kidding aside. 12 volt rope light can be powered by an AC or DC power supply provided the power supply can accommodate the wattage required to properly power the rope lighting. Most rope light controllers provide AC power to the rope. It is easier to control than DC power. And less of a strain on the controller or power supply.
Clear rope light can appear as a clear white light. And there is frosted white rope light that would appear as a softer white lighting.
