I purchased LED rope light to provide indirect lighting from above crown
molding in a tray ceiling.  LEDs were chosen since they don't generate heat.
I used clear plastic channel with mounting tape to hold the rope lighting.
The small angled blocks hold the molding.  I had some other concurrent work
going on which allowed me to get electricity to the tray from the ceiling.
The first picture shows the lights installed with one of the crown pieces
in.  The other shows the finished project.

Very cool!  Gives a great accent to the room.  Did you use a controller for a dimming option?

This is great.  It's something I had been thinking about; nice to see it implemented.  I had been looking at actual LED strips, too, which seem more expensive.

Question, how do you access the rope afterward should some of the lighting become defective?

Low heat recessed LED ceiling lights are perfect where space is tight. Energy efficient LED ceiling tile suspended ceiling lighting panels are long lasting energy saving LED light panels.Benefits of they are high luminance, low power consumption, easy to install, and ideally designed for landscape and architecture lighting.
