we have had a customer get a UV rope light and a blue rope light then use a manual controller like this http://www.usledsupply.com/shop/rgb-3k-manual-control.html to adjust each one to the desired brightness to make a deep blue color.

Right now we only have one model that can make your strips flash to the music for about $35 http://www.usledsupply.com/shop/rgb-audio-remote-control.html  but we are working on a even better one that may be out this fall

Sure, you can control it to single color or RGB with the remote controller.

A new CBS News broadcast reports that americans have just four years to go before the plug is pulled on the incandescent light bulb. Did you know that lighting accounts for 22% of the total electricity used in the US? The majority of that is used to power incandescent light bulbs which lose approximately 95% of their energy through heat. Innovations in the manufacturing of LED light bulbs has dramatically reduced their cost and will continue to do so in the coming years. New regulations are expected to be put in to place by 2014 that will essentially ban standard incandescent light bulbs in the US. See the full story below.

It looks like you've got the right idea.  So you'll need a power source with at least 6 amp output that will connect to the amplifier.  Your controller will also connect directly to the amplifier.  Then you could have five 5m runs connecting to your amplifier.  Does this help?

Hi guys,

I bought the following RGB strip light at LEDcentre and I bought the controller and and amplifier too, because I am planning to use it in my bar, and that will be 25 metres all together. If I connect them together, like it says at the installation manual on the site http://www.ledcentre.uk.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26&category_id=232&flypage=shop.flypage&lang=en&manufacturer_id=0&page=shop.product_details&product_id=173
I would do: mains - transformer - controller - strip 20m - amplifier - 5m Would this work?
Do I need another source of power before the amplifier? According to the site I do, but I just don't see why the amplifier could not get the power via the strips and the controller....
Sorry if it's a dumb question...
Thanks

Hi, we can supply you 3 wire outdoor controller, you have to buy 10 feet controller(the power line is 2m) to control 25 feet rope light. If you buy only one pcs, you’d better buy from your local, if your quantity is big, you can contact me.
